Miami based painter Anjaly aims to elevate female creative crafts out of their “lesser” conceptions to the object of aesthetic contemplation via casting the "feminine" and the playful in the light of the serious.
Her paintings confront the viewer with the worthiness and radicality in women’s expression by encouraging the viewer to view techniques and materials traditionally associated with women's craft in a fine arts perspective.
She has recently received a BFA from NWSA and displayed work in “Thesis”, a group BFA show in the Miami Design District.
